About EjectMenu
EjectMenu
is a system utility package which enables you to eject a single
or all of the mounted removable disks in your system, via menu
bar menu, control strip, or contextual menu (Mac OS 9.x/8.x only).
The best feature of EjectMenu is that you can eject any disks
in any running applications. By selecting a menu item (from menu
bar, control strip, or contextual menu under Mac OS 9/8) or pressing
a hot key combination, you can easily eject a disk without visiting
the Finder.
EjectMenu supports Apple's built-in internal floppy disk drive
and internal CD-ROM drive, Zip and Jaz drives, SyQuest removable
drives, MO drives, CD-R/CD-RW drives (w/Toast), and most other
internal or external ejectable disk formats.
EjectMenu allows you to eject dual format (audio CD, ISO 9660
CD, etc.) and to unmount network drives. In addition, for Mac
OS 9/8 users, EjectMenu also adds disk icons in its menu items
for easy identifications of disk types. On CD-ROM drives with
AppleCD (DVD) driver, you can also open the empty CD tray by using
EjectMenu.
This unique and powerful utility package includes a system extension,
a control strip module, and a contextual menu plug-in (for Mac
OS 9/8). This complete package enables to you eject any removable
disks anywhere.
